Jasper Carrott - Rock with Laughter 2008

The Midlands ‘rocked with laughter’ as Birmingham comedian Jasper Carrott led a star-studded line-up once again.

...And guess what, we where there again this year, making sure the whole event was a fighting fit success. And to make sure the laughter continued to flow, Jasper was also joined on stage by Dudley funnyman Lenny Henry, comedienne Jo Brand and Never Mind The Buzzcocks team leader Phill Jupitus.

But the feast of family fun and entertainment also included musical delights which were provided by The Manfreds featuring original singers Paul Jones and Mike d’Abo, the Bootleg Beatles, singer Elkie Brooks and Ian Dury’s former backing band, The Blockheads.

We thought this was the best year so far, and can’t wait ‘til next year’s abs pumping laughter.
